Ureaplasma, small free-living bacteria that lack cell walls, possess a small, simple genome, and the new antibodies offer additional options for researchers studying conditions associated with the presence of Ureaplasma parvum, such as urethritis, pelvic inflammatory disease, congenital pneumonia and neonatal meningitis.
