SHARING OPTIONS:
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Precision medicine software company Genospace recently announced
that Sequence Bioinformatics Inc. and the government of Newfoundland and Labrador have chosen Genospace Population Analytics to support a new precision medicine initiative. The goal is to engage
100,000 individuals in a large-scale initiative to capture a large body of genomic and phenotypic data, with the information and analysis to be made
available to a number of organizations to improve patient care. Genospace Population Analytics provides a comprehensive software platform for the initiative,
as well as valuable translational medicine capabilities.
“The Newfoundland and Labrador population is a
unique resource for genetic investigation of complex diseases,” said Mick Correll, co-founder and CEO of Genospace. “The province’s
collaboration with Sequence Bio takes a community-based approach to apply the latest genomic technologies to advance data-driven precision medicine. We are
excited to power this important initiative.”
