Hamilton Robotics announces the launch of a new automated solution for DNA sample enrichment on the MICROLAB STARlet Liquid Handling Workstation, one that integrates Roche’s 454 REM e liquid handling system to enrich up to eight DNA samples for sequencing on the GS FLX System. The system automates the enrichment process, reducing variability and improving result consistency while saving time. The REM e module handles vortexing, vacuum filtration, magnetic bead capture and heating, with all liquid transfer steps performed by the 1000 µL independent pipetting channels of the STARlet system.
