March 2012
SHARING OPTIONS:
Beckman Coulter Life Sciences
Beckman Coulter Life Sciences announces the launch of
SPRIworks HT, a high-throughput solution for fragment library preparation on
Illumina next-generation sequencers. The unit uses built-in solid phase
reversible immobilization (SPRI)-based per-well size selection. Up to 96 samples
can be prepared in three hours without size selection, or six hours with it.
The unit offers a reagent kit that includes sizing solution and PCR reagents,
with protocols automated by a suite of methods based on the Beckman Coulter
Biomek FXP Liquid Handling Workstation. Methods are included for PCR setup, PCR
cleanup, qPCR setup, quantitation, normalization and sample pooling.
