Quintiles honored as CRO of the Year at 2009 SCRIP Awards

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.—Quintiles Transnational Corp. announced last month that it was named CRO of the Year by the U.K.-based SCRIP Awards, which acknowledges excellence in the biopharmaceutical industry. Quintiles beat out 13 other nominees in that category. The company provides clinical and commercial services, consulting, partnerships and alliances to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies and has a network of 23,000 professionals around the world. Quintiles’ recent strategic partners include AstraZeneca, Eisai Co. Ltd. and Allergan.
